A digital family office for Denmark

Legacy is a digital family office for founders, angels and private investors in Denmark: one view of listed, unlisted and private assets, for a flat monthly fee, with no products of its own to sell. It reads the post, keeps the deadlines and does the tax sums. It does not give advice.

What does a digital family office do?

A traditional family office is a private staff that looks after one family’s wealth — affordable only for very large fortunes. A digital family office does the same office work with software and AI, so it can be offered at a flat fee to families with a structure that has outgrown a spreadsheet.

Legacy does four things:

  1. Reads the post. Bank statements, fund reports, capital calls, board packs and letters from Skat are forwarded to one address, filed, and turned into figures with the source attached to every one.
  2. Keeps the calendar. Tax deadlines, capital calls, general meetings, bond maturities and the annual gift to the children surface in time to act on.
  3. Does the sums. What a sale would cost in tax, where the holding company stands, and what the estate is worth today across every bank and every company.
  4. Watches. Concentration, currency, liquidity and the news that touches what the family owns — said once, with the numbers behind it.

Who is it for?

  • Founders after an exit, with wealth both personally and in a holding company.
  • Angel investors, with unlisted stakes next to listed portfolios.
  • Families with several banks, private-equity and venture funds, property, and children with savings of their own.

How is it paid for?

A flat monthly fee — never a percentage of wealth. Legacy has no funds of its own and takes no commissions, so it earns the same whatever the family decides.

Is it financial advice?

No. Legacy holds no licence from Finanstilsynet and does not recommend buying, selling or holding specific securities or loans. It shows facts, calculates consequences and explains the rules. Decision support, not advice.

Who is behind it?

Legacy was founded by Mads Viktor (first employee and Director of Design at Peakon; co-founder of Pebble) and is operated by Toma ApS.
